Cessna 172 Skyhawk
Single engine training with me will take place in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk unless otherwise requested. This plane is by far the most proven, economical airplane when it comes to primary training. Flight Dogs in Hayward airport has 6 Cessna 172s available, making it easy to train around your schedule. There are also 2 simulators available - a Redbird BTD and Diamond Glass AATD.

Diamond DA40
A DA 40 is also available for single engine training at Flight Dogs in Hayward airport. With a sidestick and glider-like performance, the DA 40 is also a cost-effective choice for single-engine training.

Cirrus SR20
A Cirrus SR20 is available for single engine training at the Livermore Airport. Due to its CAPS (Cirrus Airframe Parachute System), it is one of the safest training airplanes on the market.

Cirrus SR22T
A Cirrus SR22T G6 is available for single engine training at Hayward Airport. The big brother of a Cirrus SR20, it is designed to fit 4 passengers comfortably, cruise at 200+ knots thanks to its 315 HP engine, and make flying easy with new Garmin Perspective+ avionics. Due to its CAPS (Cirrus Airframe Parachute System), it is also one of the safest training airplanes on the market.

Multi-Engine Airplanes
Beechcraft B55 Baron
The Beechcraft B55 Baron is one of two light twins available for rent at Livermore Airport. This Baron is a great multiengine trainer plane because of its two IO-470 260 HP engines (non-turbo), long range aux tanks, and simple systems for the new light twin pilot.

Piper Seneca II
The Piper Seneca II is one of two light twins available for rent at Livermore Airport. The Seneca is turbocharged to 240 HP on each engine and can carry 6 passengers. Equipped with autopilot and glass instruments. It is available for primary instruction, advanced ratings, and time-building.

Simulators
Diamond G1000 AATD
A Diamond G1000 AATD with side- and center- sticks is available for training towards all ratings. It is especially useful to count towards the 15 hours of required instrument time for the Instrument rating. Best of all, it can be used for solo practice without an instructor.

Redbird G1000 BTD
A Redbird G1000 BTD with a standard Cessna control yoke is available for training towards all ratings. The G1000 is a prime navigator for instrument pilots and incorporates a three-axis GFC 700 autopilot. Available for solo training or with an instructor.

Redbird G430 BTD
A Redbird G430 BTD with a standard Cessna control yoke and six-pack is available for training towards all ratings. The G430 is a traditional navigator still used in many aircraft today. Its menus are straight-forward making it a breeze to use for the beginner instrument student. Available for solo training or with an instructor.
