FAQ

How do I start?

Use the Book Online link or reach out to me directly. Email: andrew@eastbaycfi.com Phone: (669) 278-5967

Are you available for discovery flights?

Yes, and if you're not sure this is for you, you are welcome to book a flight experience where we go up, show you the controls, and take a look at the scenery around.

Why learn to fly?

Learning to fly is a long, difficult road. Most of my students are motivated by a professional career. A lot of them point to a mysterious "itch" that draws them to their goal. It was only a century ago that powered flight became reality, and flight offers a freedom that few other things in life can. You may just be curious, why not give it a try?

Is it safe?

Yes. Of my 1000+ hours, I have only had a handful of airplane issues occur, and none of them turned out to be issues where life was on the line.

Where do you teach?

I teach out of Flight Dogs in Hayward, CA. Address: 20511 Skywest Dr, Hayward, CA 94541

Am I good enough?

Having taught 20+ students from high school students to grandmothers, most everyone I have met is capable of becoming a professional pilot.

What ratings do you provide?
I provide instruction for all Part 61 ratings from Private Pilot through Multi-engine Instructor.

What should I bring to my first lesson?

You do not need to bring anything. Everything you need will be provided by me or the flight school.
